Accessibility statement
SMOLJANAC d.o.o. za usluge i turistička agencija, Smoljanac 67, OIB: 98881477816, as the provider of Camping Plitvice services, strives to make its digital services accessible to the widest possible range of users, including persons with disabilities.
This Statement applies to the website www.campingplitvice.hr and has been prepared in accordance with the Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (Zakon o zahtjevima za pristupačnost proizvoda i usluga, Official Gazette NN 89/25 and 114/26).
Description of the service
The Camping Plitvice website provides information about the campsite, mobile homes, pitches and tent pitches, the restaurant and Pool Bar, campsite facilities, the destination, special experiences, excursions and activities, corporate events, private celebrations, offers and other Camping Plitvice services.
Through the website, users can:
- browse information about accommodation and other services
- check the facilities and offers of Camping Plitvice
- send enquiries via web forms
- access contact details and the information needed to plan their stay
- access the interactive campsite map
- follow a link to the PHOBS booking system, where the booking process and the conclusion of the contract take place.
Accessibility standard applied
The new Camping Plitvice website has been built in line with the guidelines WCAG 2.2, level AA.
The main pages of the website were technically checked on 30 October 2026.
The check included:
- the Orca screen reader
- the Chromium browser
- automated testing with the axe-core tool against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA criteria
- checking display and functionality at mobile and desktop screen widths
- checking the structure of pages, headings and language
- checking links and buttons
- checking web forms
- checking text descriptions of images
- checking the option to skip directly to the main content
- checking display without unwanted horizontal scrolling.
On the checked parts of the website, the automated tool used found no issues relating to the accessibility criteria checked.
How the accessibility requirements are met
The accessibility of the Camping Plitvice website is ensured through design, structure and functionality intended to make the content perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for the widest possible range of users.
The following measures, among others, have been applied on the checked pages:
- content is organised with an appropriate structure of headings and landmarks that assistive technologies can recognise
- a link is provided to skip directly to the main content of the page
- links and buttons have recognisable and understandable names
- images on the checked pages have text descriptions
- the menu, language selection and other checked functions can be used with a keyboard
- fields in the checked forms have appropriate names and required field indicators
- the content language is marked for each language version of the website
- content is adapted for display on mobile and desktop devices
- no need for unwanted horizontal scrolling of content was found on the checked pages
- information is provided as far as possible in text form that can be used with assistive technologies.
The website is available in Croatian, English, German, Italian and Dutch.
Known limitations and content not covered by the check
Despite the measures taken, some content and external services were not covered by the technical check carried out, or we cannot currently confirm that they are fully accessible.
This applies to:
PDF documents
The house rules PDF in Croatian and English does not have all the structural tags that would allow easier navigation with a screen reader.
The same house rules content is also available in text form on the website.
PDF documents such as the campsite map and the menu were not covered by the accessibility check carried out.
CampMap
CampMap is an external application that provides an interactive map of the campsite.
The accessibility of the CampMap application was not covered by the technical check of the Camping Plitvice website.
Virtual tour
The virtual tour is hosted on a separate system and was not covered by the accessibility check carried out.
PHOBS booking system
The booking process and the conclusion of the contract take place through the external PHOBS booking system.
PHOBS is not part of the technical implementation of the new Camping Plitvice website, and its accessibility was not covered by the check carried out by the website developer.
Camping Plitvice has requested information and documentation on the accessibility of the PHOBS booking engine from the booking system provider. This Statement will be updated as necessary once the relevant documentation has been received.
Limitations of the assessment carried out
The screen reader check was carried out using the Orca program in the Chromium browser.
The website has not been separately checked with the screen readers NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver.
The check was not carried out by users who use a screen reader every day. The screen reader output was checked technically, through a record of the text the reader prepared for speech.
The main pages and templates of the website were checked, not every individual subpage.
The other subpages were built using the same or equivalent templates and components.
Ongoing monitoring and improvement
Camping Plitvice will strive to continuously monitor and improve the accessibility of the website, especially when:
- changing content
- introducing new functions
- changing the design and structure of the website
- adding new documents
- connecting new external applications and systems.
If a shortcoming is identified that makes it difficult for users to access content or use a particular function, appropriate measures will be taken to remove it within a reasonable time.

How accessibility was assessed
The technical accessibility check of the new Camping Plitvice website was carried out by 2klika on 30 October 2026, according to the standard WCAG 2.2, level AA.
The following were used in the check:
- Orca 43.1
- Chromium 156.0.8078.73
- axe-core 4.13.0
- Playwright / Chromium for checking display at different screen widths.
The automated check with the axe-core tool was carried out on 14 pages at display widths of 390 and 1440 px and found no issues on the checked pages.
