Campsite house rules

The management of Camping Plitvice kindly asks all guests to comply with these House Rules in order to ensure a safe, pleasant and relaxing stay for everyone.

1. Guest registration

Only registered guests may stay at the campsite. Upon arrival, all persons staying at the campsite must be registered, as well as vehicles and camping equipment where applicable.

Visitors must also register at the reception before entering the campsite.

2. Minors

Persons under the age of 18 may not stay at the campsite unless accompanied by a parent, guardian or another responsible adult.

Parents and other responsible adults are responsible for the behaviour and safety of minors during their stay.

3. Accommodation unit, pitch and camping site

Guests may use the mobile home, pitch or camping site assigned to them through their reservation or upon check-in.

Changing the accommodation unit, pitch or camping site is only permitted with prior approval from the reception.

It is not permitted to fence off areas, dig channels, install permanent structures or otherwise alter or damage the surroundings, vegetation, trees or other campsite areas.

4. Check-in and check-out

Check-in for mobile homes, pitches and camping sites: from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

With prior notice, arrival and check-in are possible 24 hours a day.

Check-out from mobile homes: by 10:00 a.m.

Check-out from pitches and camping sites: by 11:00 a.m.

Before departure, guests are kindly asked to settle any outstanding charges and return keys or any other equipment provided by the campsite.

5. Peace and quiet

Guests are kindly asked to respect the peace and comfort of other guests.

Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. During this period, loud music, singing, loud gatherings or any other activities that may disturb other guests are not permitted.

Guests are also encouraged to respect the afternoon rest period from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

6. Traffic within the campsite

The maximum permitted speed for vehicles within the campsite is 20 km/h.

Pedestrians and cyclists have priority, and drivers must adjust their speed to the conditions and take particular care due to the presence of children and other guests.

During quiet hours, unnecessary use of motor vehicles should be avoided.

7. Cleanliness and environment

Guests are responsible for keeping the area they use clean and tidy.

Waste must be disposed of in the designated containers and waste separation rules must be followed.

Wastewater from camper vans and caravans may only be discharged at the designated camper service area.

Discharging wastewater onto the ground or elsewhere within the campsite is not permitted.

8. Pets

Pets are welcome at an additional charge according to the current price list.

Pet owners are required to keep their pets under control, keep them on a leash and clean up after them immediately.

Pets are not permitted in the swimming pool area.

Pet owners are responsible for any damage or soiling caused by their pets.

9. Barbecues and fire safety

Open fires are not permitted within the campsite.

The use of electric barbecues on pitches is permitted, provided that all safety rules and any temporary fire prevention restrictions are observed.

Guests may also use the shared barbecue area.

10. Sanitary facilities and shared amenities

Guests are kindly asked to use sanitary facilities, children’s and sports playgrounds, swimming pools, the pet wash area and all other shared amenities responsibly and to leave them clean and tidy after use.

Children may use shared amenities only under the supervision of a parent or another responsible adult.

11. Swimming pool use

Guests must comply with the swimming pool rules and follow the instructions of campsite staff.

Children may use the swimming pool only under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Pets are not permitted in the swimming pool area.

12. Responsibility for personal belongings

Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings, valuables, vehicles and camping equipment.

Camping Plitvice is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, except where liability arises under applicable law.

13. Responsibility for damage

Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves, persons for whom they are responsible, or their pets to buildings, equipment, inventory, landscaped areas or any other property of Camping Plitvice.

Any damage caused may be charged according to the actual cost of repair or replacement.

14. Safety

Guests must comply with all safety signs, staff instructions and rules for using individual facilities and amenities.

In the event of danger, fire, accident or any other emergency, guests must immediately notify the reception.

15. Visitors

Visitors may enter the campsite only after registering at the reception and must comply with these House Rules during their stay.

The guest receiving the visitor is responsible for the visitor’s behaviour while on the campsite.

16. Compliance with the House Rules

Guests who fail to comply with these House Rules, disturb other guests, endanger safety or intentionally damage property may receive a warning. In cases of serious or repeated violations, Camping Plitvice reserves the right to terminate the guest’s stay and refuse further use of campsite services.
