PRE-SEASON: NEW ENCOUNTERS, TIME FOR YOURSELF, JOURNEYS THAT MATTER

In the pre- and post-season, Camping Plitvice comes especially alive through group events – business and private. 2025 was marked by growth in team building programmes for Croatian and international companies, corporate gatherings in nature, as well as family celebrations, christenings and weddings.

More and more companies recognise the value of a stay outside the usual setting, in surroundings that encourage connection, creativity and relaxation. What sets Camping Plitvice apart is not just a wide choice of activities, but personalised organisation. From idea to execution, the concierge team takes care of the entire coordination – and this is already included in the team building offer itself.

The beauty of the Plitvice region in spring, when blossoming nature puts on its colourful cloak, also brought plenty of invitations to family celebrations – the growing number of weddings in the heart of Lika, in the middle of a modern campsite with pools, shows that more and more couples are recognising this.

SPRING: NEW ENERGY AND THE FIRST YOGA RETREAT

When nature becomes part of the programme

Spring 2025 brought something completely new — the first yoga retreat at Camping Plitvice.
The excellent response and the participants’ experiences confirmed that this kind of stay fits the campsite’s philosophy perfectly. A yoga retreat is more than a holiday. It is a break in which the body releases tension through gentle yoga movements, the mind calms down through guided meditation, and energy is restored through pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) and wellness walks in nature. A yoga retreat is a modern answer to a sedentary lifestyle – a break you can feel long after you get home, in a relaxed body, a clear mind and a light spirit. That is exactly why retreats are becoming a permanent part of what we offer, and already in spring 2026, a new yoga retreat takes place from 13 to 15 March.

A SUMMER OF BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS: A BREAK FOR CAMPERS, A HOME FOR REGULAR GUESTS – HERE EVERYONE IS FAMILY

From the sixth five-a-side football tournament in June to the celebration of the campsite’s sixth birthday in August – here we all celebrate and have fun like a family. During the main season, Camping Plitvice is an essential stop for many foreign campers travelling through Croatia and the region. Camping Plitvice is often exactly that resting point, a place where people stop, rest, enjoy themselves and recharge before continuing their journey. 2025 confirmed that Camping Plitvice is not just a summer destination. Autumn programmes, winter stays and an especially rich Advent period showed how many different faces nature has – and how each of them has its own audience. And a press get-together in December, in the middle of the holiday rush, swept the journalists off their feet and gave them a much-needed break from work.

We ended the year just as we should – at the Croatian Tourism Days 2025 in Dubrovnik, Camping Plitvice won the award for Best Small Campsite of 2025, presented by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Ministry of Tourism. Although Camping Plitvice wins numerous awards year after year, we see this one as the culmination of continuity and of our guests’ trust.
